About me, and what I do...
Art has always been my way of life; once an avenue of self-expression opens for me, it doesn't really shut. Often, I utilize skills learned in one medium to heighten my work in another and problem solve- in short, I love discovering new ways to be a creative jack of all trades and hone in my craft.
I began my art journey drawing at a young age, which blossomed into storytelling through comics and short stories; I was inspired by the animated films put out by Pixar, The Muppets, video games, comic books, and movies. Throughout my years in school I've excelled in local art contests, produced countless posters for class events, and worked on and off work as a caricature artist at local events. I also developed a love for directing/editing short films, alongside storyboarding and writing for the screen. I discovered a love for writing songs and poetry during high school also, and took a lot of pride in sculpting clay figures in ceramics. I've painted murals, was Head Set Painter and Stage Manager in Stage Crew, have dabbled in acting on stage and on camera, and most recently have been studying animation at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. |
